Magic Carpet Ride

This morning the girls were playing magic carpet ride. Maddie moved my front hall rug into the dinning room and gave Macey her own carpet and they played magic carpet ride for most of the morning. It was really cute.

YARD WORK IS A SPECTATOR SPORT

Curt was out working on the yard this weekend and Maddie insisted that she help. Since she is so small there wasn't much for her to help with. So instead she sat in her chair and watched Curt mow, weed eat and demolish the dead tree that used to be in our front yard. I think more than anything she just wanted to be with him!

If You Give a Pig A Pancake

Yesterday we went to Southlake Townsquare to the Barnes and Noble for Story Time. The author that was there didnt end up reading the book which was a little disappointing so instead they sang a song and did a few activities that went along with the book. After that was over the girls and I walked over to the childrens section to check things out. While we were looking, Pig from the stories If you give a pig a pancake, If you give a moose a muffin, If you give a mouse a cookie, came to the stage and was taking pictures with the kids. Maddie freaked. She was screaming at Pig to talk to her. She got her picture taken and her day was set!

Birthday Dinner

My Parents were here visiting all last week. We went on many adventures including dinner for my birthday at Cheesecake Factory, trip to the library, mall and park. We had a great time and enjoyed their company.
