Reading with Daddy

Daddy made it home in time to read to the girls before they went to bed. Usually they are in a deep sleep by the time he is home.

Who Wants to Bounce in my House???

Last week I met the new neighbors who live two houses up from us. After exchanging names and some small talk about the neighborhood,they asked if the girls would want a bounce house? I thought Ok sure. Their kids are just to big for it, so I agreed to take the bounce house home, then as she gets the bounce house down, she asks if I wanted a slip and slide? Ok? So a bounce house, a slip and slide and two floaties later my children are the happiest kids in the neighborhood.

Jumping on the Couch

Right now the girls "Maddie" love taking the cushions off the couch and making "Hills" to climb and jump off of. It is so funny to watch. And yes Maddie is not wearing pants. According to her underpants are pants!! Thank God for my 2 year old.

The Circus

Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey were in town this weekend so like the good parents we are we took the girls to the Circus. It already feels like most days are a circus, but this circus offered things we dont see everyday. Live animals and acrobats. There were lots of clowns to make us laugh. For the most part the girls really enjoyed it!

I can WALK

Macey has finally started walking. She still does her scooting but is now all over the place.

Picnic at the Park

The girls and I went on a picnic this week and had fun playing on the swings and the slides.

I knew she was a mama's girl!!!

The Wiggles Finally Arrive in Texas

After about 3 months of listing to Maddie ask when the Wiggles were coming to her house and telling everybody that the Wiggles were coming to her house, they finally came Saturday afternoon. Maddie had a blast and totally freaked out when they came out in the big red car. She danced and sang and loved every minute of the show.

Maddie's "2nd Birthday Party"

Maddie's best friend Emma up the street turned 3 today. She had a big Princess themed party and all the girls got to wear their princess dresses to the party. They had fun playing princess games, listing to Princess music and enjoying everything Pink. It was a fun time.
