The girls loved having Papa Randy read to them from the If you give a Mouse a cookie book. Poor Papa had to read it over and over. I dont think Papa minded much, the girls definately got some good cuddle time in Papa's lap!!

New Sand Box

While Papa Randy was here visiting the girls got a new turtle sandbox. They love playing in it and will really have fun with it this summer!!

Bath Time Fun

Cousins

My cousin Sarah and her Husband Drew came to visit us on the 6th of March, on their way back from visiting my grandparents in Padre. It was a quick visit but fun to see them and their new, well 8 month old daughter Mayli. Madeline and Macey had fun playing with their new cousin. It was so fun to have them here!!

Washing the Grass??

About two weeks ago Curt sprayed some weed be gone all over our yard, because it has been taken over by lots of weeds. Maddie and the dog were not allowed out side while he was spraying. When Maddie saw him out side she asked why daddy was washing the grass. It was so sweet. It's funny sometimes how children interpret situations. It made me smile!! Needless to say daddy still has more washing of the grass to do as the weeds are still here!!!

Maddie's New Haircut

I took Maddie to Cool Cutz 4 Kids today to get her hair cut. We chopped almost 3 inches off. She was soooo scared at first but once we got there she jumped right up into the chair that was shaped like a race car and watched Dora and the Pirates while they cut her hair. I of course forgot the camera when we walked out the door but got lots of pictures when we got home. Her hair turned out so cute.

In corner 1 is Maddie the big sister who wants the bear, In corner 2 is Macey who wants the bear too!!!

After 1 round and a disqualification the winner was Macey!! Maddie was disqualified for pinching and was taken into custody. Her bail was posted at 1 promise not to pinch and 1 promise to share with my sister. 2 mins later she was released from her room and back on the streets.

Semi Homeade with Maddie B.

Watch out Sandra Lee Maddie B's whipping up some of her own semi-homemade. Today I helped Maddie make a chocolate cake. She decided to add M&M's and butterscotch chips to it. It was surprisingly wonderful.
