Happy Thanksgiving

Four Stuffed Turkeys sat around their table today and gave thanks to be together! Happy Thanksgiving. Hope everyone had a stuffed and happy day!!

Happy Birthday Maddie 11/23/2008

We celebrated Maddie's 3rd birthday this weekend with a trip to Chuck E. Cheese. The girls had a blast our friends Chuck and Jen and their kidos Daeton and Andie came along and then came over for cake and a blow out Iowa Game. Maddie got lots of great stuff including a Little Mermaid Jammie Dress that she has been wearing since she opened the thing. Her actual Birthday is Monday the 24th, but definately celebrated in style this weekend.

The Dancing Queen

Maddie was entertaining me with her dance moves tonight in the kitchen. I have to say she can really cut a rug. It was cracking me up. She definately can shake it. I hope you all enjoy the videos as much as Curt and I did. We cant stop laughing!

Happy Halloween 2008

Today was a festive day for us. We carved our pumpkins, and got ready to go trick or treating. Maddie had a blast. She got tons and tons of candy. She and her best little friend Andie wore matching Sleeping Beauty Costumes. Macey was a Lady Bug,more like a Love Bug. They had so much fun going door to door.

Soccer Class

Here is some video of Maddie at her soccer skills class that she takes on Tuesday nights when we can get there. She loves it. It helps when Curt can go because it's a parents involved class and with Macey it makes it hard for me to juggle both. But when Daddy comes Maddie has fun and Macey runs wild. Enjoy the video

Pumpkin Patch 2008

We ventured out to Halls Pumpkin Farm today over in Grapevine,TX. The girls had so much fun running around looking at pumpkins. They played in the childrens corn maze, straw house, the "Real Tractor" and the play equipment. We settled on two small pumpkins this year, according to Maddie all the pumpkins were to big for her. I think she just liked being able to carry her own pumpkin! Gob bless the independent child! Enjoy the slide show!

Bass Champs

Over the last weekend there was a Bass Champs fishing tournament out at Eagle Mountain lake, not to far from our home. Curt has fished in Bass Champs tournaments in the past has yet to come home with the big winner, but still has fun participating. So in order to spend some family bonding time getting to know about Curt/Daddy's hobby the girls and I decided to go with him out to the Lake to watch the weigh in. Thinking it would be some spectacular event we were pumped. Needless to say the weigh in lasted about 45 mins and that was it. No family fun activities no prizes for the kids, just good ol' boys bringing in there catches from the day and talking about lures, bait and strategies for the next days big catch. I wasn't as impressed as I thought I was going to be but my husband was in heaven.

Dancing at the Doctor

Today Macey had her 12 month check up...well more like her 15 month, I am a little slow. Anyway we went today and saw our doctor. Macey had a great check up weighing in at 25lbs 8oz. She ranked in the 90Th percentile in weight and height. She did have to have 4 shots. She wasn't having that.... But survived. While we were waiting for the Doctor to come in the girls were dancing around the room we were in. It was entertaining considering the wait as most of you know at a Doctors office can get long and boring. Enjoy the video!!

Soccer Time

Maddie starts soccer skills on Tuesday. She and Curt went this weekend and got a new soccer ball, shin guards and some new soccer socks. She is so excited. She and Curt practiced in the front yard to get ready.

The Zoo

Today was a beautiful day for the Zoo. The girls and I had a wonderful day. The animals were all active. We saw the lion roam, the mama lion and her cubs, tons of Monkeys and even got to ride the Merry-GO-Round!
