Happy Tea

Of all the Christmas presents that Maddie got this year, the one that she adores playing with the most is a porcelain tea set from her Great Grammy Lory. She loves playing tea party and arranging all of the pieces just right. Today we played tea party and she was serving up "Happy Tea" It was the best happy tea I have ever had. And yes Maddie is wearing her jammie dress.

Getting Organized!!!

This morning I conquered the task of organizing Macey's closet. Trying to get rid of the old and bring in the new. I didn't realize how behind I had gotten on packing everything away, but now it is all sorted, stored and ready to be shipped out of here!! I cant believe how much the girls grow between seasons! Anyway here are some pictures of the massive amounts of clothes I had to deal with. In the end I think there were about 8 boxes stored away. Some had to go on the floor in the closet, but the task is done and order is restored so let Summer begin!!

Much needed Date Night

So last night was our first "Date Night" in about 2 years. Do get me wrong we go out, with friends and for parties, but it has been a long time since it was just the "two of us." We decided we had better take advantage of having my parents here one more night and using the "free" babysitter, well actually it is the "will work for Starbucks babysitter." Curt and I had a great dinner at Cheesecake Factory in Southlake Town Center Plaza and then went across the street for a movie. We saw "Yes Man" with Jim Carrey. It was hysterical!! It was a great night. On the way home we were talking and the subject came up on why we didnt do this for ourselves more often. It was a much needed night. As much as we love being a group of 4, it was great to be a group of 2 for the night!
